To be exact, it is a transparent Cat5e UTP cable. But kinda looong – 7 meters!.. Well, actually, I saw the cable at Tesco Penang when I went to shop for my groceries and I just had to visit the IT Cable Section and saw the cable… (honestly, I didn’t aspect I’m gonna find cool stuff like the cable there!)
Anyway, sorry, I don’t remember the price anymore.. haha. But, if i’m not mistaken, the price range between RM10 – RM15. So far, I had use it several times but since its too long, I think I will cut it into 2 (each 3.5 meters) and recrimp each end. Most probably, I will leave one at home and the other I will keep it in my bag (so I could use it at work.. ). Well, I won’t take a 7 meter network cable to work anymore – I had the experience of my senior (in fact he’s a CCIE in Routing and Switching) laughed at me jokingly because I was carrying a 7-meter network cable everyday to work!
